The Butler Did It!
Kevin Butler is currently ranked first in the Mountain West Conference in offensive rebounds per game (6.33 R-G) and second in blocked shots per game (2.0 B-G). The TCU sophomore is also ranked third in the Mountain West Conference in rebounds per game (8.3 R-G).

• The 6-4 forward has posted at least six points and six rebounds in all three games for the Frogs this season. Butler posted a career-high 11 rebounds to go along with seven points in TCU's home opener against Mid-America Christian. The TCU sophomore also added a career-high three blocked shots in each of the first two games for the Frogs.

• Butler - who has started in each of the first three games - is ranked fifth in the Mountain West Conference in minutes played per game at 33.0 minutes per evening. The TCU sophomore has 25 total rebounds this season with 19 of them coming on the offensive glass. Butler is the only player in the conference to average over 5.0 offensive boards per evening.

King of the Hill
Greg Hill earned a spot in the starting lineup in the Frogs' first game of the season as the 6-2 guard finished with seven points to go along with two rebounds in 21 minutes of action against Mid-America Christian. This season, Hill is averaging 4.0 points per game to go along with 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in 17.7 minutes per evening. On the road at Arizona State, Hill saw action in 22 minutes where he posted five points and one steal.

• Hill spent a pair of seasons at Midland College where he guided the Chaparrals to a 33-4 overall record during his sophomore season and a berth in the NJCAA National Championship Game. The 6-2 guard posted a game-high 25 points, including a tournament record six three-pointers in the title game, before suffering a setback to Salt Lake Community College.

• Last season, Hill garnered first team All-Region V and first team All-Western Junior College Athletic Conference accolades after averaging 15.5 points per game. The first-year Frog led all Region V players in three-pointers (84) and three-point field goal attempts (257) while ranking sixth in scoring average (15.5 P-G).

The Green Mile
Garlon Green was the first player to sign a National Letter of Intent for the Frogs last season. The 6-7 forward was ranked as one of the players coming out of the Houston area and was ranked as the 12th-best player in the State of Texas by TexasHoops.com following his senior campaign.

• In his first game for the Frogs, Green finished with eight points to go along with five rebounds and two blocked shots in 28 minutes of action against Mid-America Christian. The 6-7 forward has averaged 18.0 minutes per evening, which is tops among all Frog freshmen, and has averaged 3.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.

MWC-MVC Challenge Series
• The Mountain West Conference and Missouri Valley Conference will begin its inaugural Challenge Series between the two leagues during the 2009-10 campaign. The agreement between the two conference is a four-year deal, and nine Challenge Series games will be played each season with each conference hosting a total of 18 games during the period.

The Baker's Dozen
• Sophomore Logan Lancon is just one of 13 student-athletes majoring in engineering at TCU. The 6-6 forward was selected as an Academic All-Mountain West Conference during the 2008-09 season. This season, Lancon has appeared in two games where he is averaging 4.0 minutes per evening.

• Last season, Lancon appeared in 21 games where he made his first collegiate start in Mountain West Conference action against New Mexico at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. The 6-6 forward posted a career-high five points on two occasions, including a five-point performance against Wyoming in TCU's overtime victory over the Pokes.

"X" Marks the Spot
Xavier Roberson has appeared in all three games for the Frogs this season where the TCU freshman is averaging 9.0 minutes per evening to go along with 2.0 points and 1.3 assists per game. Roberson scored a career-high six points, including 3-of-4 at the free throw line, to go along with two assists, one rebound and one steal against Cal State Northridge.

• The TCU freshman came to the Frogs' program from Mississippi Elite Christian Academy where he guided his team to a fourth-place finish at the National Prep School Championships.
