Oct. 15, 2009

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's basketball program will officially begin practice in preparation for the 2009-10 campaign on Friday afternoon in the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

Since the first week of classes, the Horned Frogs have been working out in groups of four in the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in addition to working together as a team in the weight room inside the Schollmaier Basketball Complex. Due to NCAA regulations, the Frogs were limited to the number of days and amount of time per week that they were able to practice.

On Sept. 15, the Frogs took another stride in their preparation as they began to practice as a team in the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, but for no more than two hours per week.

The Frogs will have less than four weeks to prepare for their first game of the 2009-10 season when TCU welcomes Mid-America Christian University to the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum on Nov. 13. In addition, the Frogs will travel to Tempe, Ariz., for the NIT Season Tip-Off where they will compete against Cal State Northridge in their first game on Nov. 16.

Fans are encouraged to renew their season tickets or purchase season tickets online at GoFrogs.com or contact the TCU Athletics Ticket Office at (817) 257-FROG. The TCU Athletics Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Adult reserved season tickets can be purchased for $160 while youth reserved season tickets can be purchased for $80. Fans will also have an opportunity to purchase the Frog Plan for a price of $375, which will include a minimum of four tickets behind the baskets above Row 20.
