Sept. 1, 2010
FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's basketball team will welcome PAC-10 opponent USC to Daniel-Meyer Coliseum on Nov. 29 for the first-ever meeting between the two programs as part of the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament.
The Trojans will be the first PAC-10 school to play at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum since Washington State came to the Fort Worth area during the 2002-03 campaign. This will be only the third time in TCU men's basketball history that a PAC-10 school has traveled to Fort Worth to square-off against the Frogs. Oregon was the first program as part of the 1999 NIT.
The Frogs will travel to Springfield, Mass. - home of the Basketball Hall of Fame - for a trio of games. The Frogs will be in a field that consists of USC, Massachusetts, Bradley, New Mexico State and Rider. The entire schedule for the 2010 Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament will be announced next week.
The Frogs will open up the 2010-11 campaign at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum on Nov. 12 against Jackson State. In addition to USC coming to the Fort Worth area, the Frogs will have a total of eight non-conference games on their home floor, including match-ups against SMU, Northern Iowa and Houston.
