SAN ANDRES ISLAND, Colombia - When the lights went out at Pink Coliseum, the TCU Horned Frogs turned it on. With the score between TCU and the San Andres Soles tied 39-39 at the 8:31 mark of the third period, a storm knocked out the arena's power, forcing a 10-minute delay. Apparently, that's what TCU needed.

When play resumed, the Horned Frogs turned up the defensive pressure and intensity, and by the time the fourth quarter began, the Frogs enjoyed a 65-47 lead. The 26-8 run featured a barrage of steals that led to several layups and a pair of 3-pointers.

San Andres scored the first 11 points of the final quarter to narrow the gap to seven, 65-58, with 8:02 to play. However, two minutes later, TCU responded with a 10-0 run of its own, keyed by back-to-back 3-pointers by Brent Hackett and Keion Mitchem, to put the game out of reach.

TCU ended up with a 14-point victory, 83-69, to improve to 3-1 on the current trip. The loss avenged an 80-71 defeat to the physical, hard-nosed Soles two nights earlier.

Seniors Kevin Langford and Ryan Wall each had 15 points to lead the way. Langford registered his second double-double on the trip, as he corralled a team-high 12 rebounds. Wall also contributed seven boards and four steals.

Hackett returned after missing the previous game with a minor injury to tally 14 points. Mitchem (12 points) notched his third straight double-figure scoring game, while redshirt freshman Luke Tauscher impressed with 12 points and eight boards. Sophomore point guard Jason Ebie had six points, six assists, five steals and just one turnover.

Following an off-day Wednesday, TCU will fly back to Costa Rica and play Thursday evening. The Horned Frogs' final game will be Friday night against the Costa Rica National Team.
