TCU head men's basketball coach Jim Christian announced on Tuesday (May 13) that Fort Worth product Ronnie Moss (Fort Worth, Texas/Christian Life Academy) has joined the Horned Frogs' program and will join the roster for the upcoming 2008-09 campaign.

"Ronnie is the type of player that we want in our program," said Christian. "He's a tough, hard-nosed player that loves to play the game. It's always an added bonus to have a talented local player join your team, and we believe that Ronnie is a tremendous addition to our program."

The 6-2 guard comes to the Frogs' program from Christian Life Academy in Houston where he averaged 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game. Prior to attending Christian Life Academy - Moss attended Bridgton Academy in Bridgton, Maine, where he led his team to the Northeastern Prep School Championship during the 2006-07 campaign. In his lone season - Moss averaged 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game for Bridgton Academy.

During his junior campaign - Moss attended North Crowley High School where he averaged 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game en route to securing first team All-District 4-5A, third team all-city and honorable mention all-state laurels.

Moss joins Weatherford College standout Edvinas Ruzgas (Vilnius, Lithuania/Weatherford College) as the first two players to be added to the 2008-09 TCU roster under first-year head men's basketball coach Jim Christian.
