TCU-Marquette C-USA Tournament Game to Air on Fox Sports 1190
March 9, 2004 FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Athletics Department has announced that Wednesday's TCU-Marquette men's basketball game will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1190 AM and KTCU 88.7 FM in the Fort Worth/Dallas metroplex. The Conference USA first-round game between the ninth-seeded Horned Frogs and eighth-seeded Golden Eagles will tip off in Cincinnati, Ohio, at 3:30 p.m. (ET)/2:30 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, Mar. 10. As usual, the radio team of Brian Estridge and Herb Stephens will provide the play-by-play and analysis for the game action. Fans also will be able to see the game live in its entirety on ESPN2. Mark Jones and Larry Conley will describe the action to the national television audience.
TCU won the previous meeting between the two teams this year by an 85-79 margin in Milwaukee, Wis. It was just the third home loss in three seasons for Marquette, who advanced to the 2003 NCAA Final Four. The winner of Wednesday's TCU-Marquette game will face top-seeded DePaul in the C-USA Quarterfinals at 3:30 p.m. (ET)/2:30 p.m. (CT) on Thursday.
