TCU's Dougherty to Host Basketball Clinic for Women

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU head men's basketball coach Neil Dougherty will host the first annual Basketball Clinic for Women on Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Lettermen's Lounge in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. The clinic is being provided for women of all knowledge levels who are eager to learn more about basketball.
All who attend the clinic will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of Coach Dougherty and the 2003-04 Horned Frog coaching staff. Groups will be split into three categories: rookie, intermediate and veteran.
The cost of the clinic is $20 per person, and all proceeds go to Project Purple, an organization that provides TCU tickets to under-privileged children. The first 50 registrants will also receive a commemorative Coach D's Clinic T-shirt and all entrants will be eligible to win door prizes. In addition to refreshments, food will be catered by Michael's Restaurant.
