About the Game
On Saturday night, the TCU Horned Frogs (5-5) begin the 2003 calendar season with their final nonconference game prior to the start of the Conference USA regular season. TCU leads the all-time series against the Centenary Gents (5-7) nine games to eight. The Horned Frogs have won two straight head-to-head meetings and five of the last six. The Frogs claimed the last contest by a 118-87 count on Nov. 25, 1996. Centenary is the third Louisiana school that TCU has faced this season. Previously this year, the Frogs lost to Louisiana Monroe 90-79, a team that Centenary has beaten twice (80-65 on Nov. 26 and 92-71 on Dec. 7).
