Horned Frogs End Three-Game Skid

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Bingo Merriex scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead TCU to a 103-84 win over Grambling State on Monday night. Corey Santee had 17 points for TCU (5-5). Chudi Chinweze had 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Nucleus Smith added 14 points for the Horned Frogs. Jamal Brown grabbed 13 rebounds for the Horned Frogs, who led Grambling State (3-8) 60-37 at halftime. Four players had double-digit scoring for Grambling State, which shot just 44 percent for the game. William McDonald had 17 points, Darius Whiteside had 12 and Paul Haynes and Antoine McKenzie added 14 for Grambling State.
