Final Stats

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- Alvardo Parker scored 10 points and had 11 rebounds Tuesday night to help lead TCU to a 76-49 victory over Rice.

Parker hit 5-of-8 from the field. Henry Salter led the Horned Frogs (2-0) with 11 points. Luke Tausher came off the bench to pull down 12 rebounds and score six points before fouling out.

Paulius Packevicius led Rice (0-1) with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Rice jumped out to an early lead but TCU took over for good with a layup by Neiman Owens to make it 10-9 with 14:52 left in the first half and steadily built up to a 40-18 halftime lead.

The Horned Frogs shot 38 percent from the field for the game. Rice shot 24 percent.
