Final Stats

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Corey Santee scored 25 points - 19 of them in the second half - as TCU defeated Tulane 77-63 Wednesday night.

Santee keyed a 15-2 run that broke the game open in the second half. He hit three 3-pointers and added a hard drive to the hoop during the crippling run, which made it 55-45 with 8:20 to go.

Marcu Shropshire added 17 points for the Horned Frogs (17-10, 7-6 Conference USA) and Nile Murry had 16.

David Gomez led the Green Wave (9-15, 3-10) with 18 points. Taylor Rochestie added 12. Quincy Davis had a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Donnie Stith also grabbed 10 rebounds.

The game was tied 34-34 at the half, but TCU pulled away in the second, outscoring the Green Wave 43-29.
