Frogs unable to hold on to halftime lead, fall to Wyoming 71-56

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) -Brandon Ewing scored 22 points in leading Wyoming to a 71-56, come-from-behind win over TCU on Saturday.

Brad Jones added 18 points for the Cowboys (13-8, 4-3 Mountain West Conference), including 14 of 15 free throws. Jones also grabbed seven rebounds.

TCU (10-9, 2-5) led 25-20 at the half. But the Cowboys took a 41-40 lead on a 14-2 run.

Neither team scored until nearly 2 minutes into the game. Both teams struggled to find the basket in the first half, when Wyoming shot 26 percent and TCU made 25 percent.

After Jones, Eric Platt scored 15 points and Bienvenu Songondo 10 for Wyoming.

Kevin Langford led TCU with 12 points. He also had nine rebounds. Brent Hackett added 10 points for the Horned Frogs.
