2007-08 | Sophomore Season
The TCU sophomore appeared in seven games during the 2007-08 season - including a quartet of Mountain West Conference contests... scored his first collegiate point against Grambling State (Nov. 21) when he connected on 1-of-2 attempts from the free throw line... notched rebounds against Grambling State (Nov. 21) as well as Wyoming (Jan. 12).. saw a career-high two minutes of action against Texas Southern (Dec. 8), Wyoming (Jan. 12) and Utah (Jan. 26).
2006-07 | Freshman Season
Metzger appeared in a pair of games for the Purple and White during the 2006-07 campaign after earning a spot on the team as a walk-on during the fall semester... saw court time in a pair of Mountain West Conference contests in Colorado State (Feb. 13) and BYU (Mar. 8).
Reagan High School
A native of San Antonio, Texas - Metzger was a first team all-district and all-country award winner in his final two seasons at Reagan High School... earned third team all-state accolades during his junior campaign... averaged 15.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game during his senior season en route to leading his prep program to the regional championships and a sixth-place finish in the state rankings... played on the San Antonio Celtics during his AAU career... helped guide the San Antonio Celtics to the 2006 Five-Star Camp Florida State Championship... selected as a Who's Who Among American High School Students... concluded his career at Reagan High School with four varsity letters on the hardwood.
