Kone arrived at TCU after spending one season at Howard College in Big Springs, Texas ... missed the entire 2008-09 season due to injury ... ranked 11th among all NJCAA Division I players in blocked shots (1.03 bpg), No. 38 in offensive rebounds (1.7 rpg) and No. 45 in total rebounds (4.4 rpg) during his freshman season in 2007-08 ... averaged 3.1 points per game while connecting on 58.1 percent (36-of-62) of his field-goal attempts ... helped lead the Hawks to a 25-8 overall record and a 12-4 mark in WJCAC action ... helped Howard College reach the Region V Championship Game.
