Amric Fields started each of the season's first three games before suffering a season-ending knee injury just 12 seconds into TCU's Nov. 15 home matchup with SMU ... had played in 69 straight games for the Frogs prior to the injury ... led TCU in scoring during its season opener vs. Cal Poly (Nov. 9), totaling 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting ... pitched in six points and six boards in the win over Centenary (Nov. 12) ... underwent season-ending surgery to his right knee Dec. 14.

2011-12 | SOPHOMORE SEASON

Fields took a step forward in his second season on the court for the Frogs after seeing significant playing time as a true freshman ... became the first TCU player ever to be named Mountain West Sixth Man of the Year after leading all league bench players (five starts or fewer) in scoring during MW play (9.6 ppg) ... finished the regular season ranked tied for 20th overall in conference play in scoring average and was the top scorer for players with fewer than 10 starts ... saw action in all 33 contests, making eight starts ... led TCU in blocked shots and field-goal percentage while ranking third in scoring, fourth in 3-pointers and seventh in rebounding ... scored in double figures 19 times, including a career-high five games in a row from the Ole Miss (Nov. 21) contest through the Texas Tech game (Dec. 6) ... led TCU in scoring four times and rebounding once ... set his season scoring high with 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting during TCU's double-overtime loss at Colorado State (Jan. 14) ... scored the tying points responsible for sending the Frogs into overtime (2-for-2 at the free-throw line) and double-overtime (layup with 0.3 seconds remaining) ... set a career high with three steals against the Rams ... also came through in the clutch during the Feb. 22 road win at Air Force, sinking a 3-pointer for the winning basket with 18 seconds remaining among his 10 points ... the shot helped TCU end a 15-game conference road skid ... named Mountain West Player of the Week for the first time in his career on Jan. 9 for his performance against Rice (Jan. 4) ... became only the fifth Frog to garner the MW weekly honor and the first since Edvinas Ruzgas on Dec. 21, 2009.

2010-11 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Fields had an impressive true freshman season for TCU in his first year on campus ... was one of only three Frogs who played in all 33 games ... started nine contests, including eight of the final 14 games ... led TCU in blocked shots (19), ranked No. 5 in points (225), rebounds (94) and minutes played (645) and was No. 7 in steals (18) ... ranked No. 2 among all Mountain West Conference freshmen in scoring and tied for fifth in rebounding ... scored eight or more points 13 times with seven double-digit outings ... led the Frogs in points three times ... scored the most points for a freshman in a TCU season opener (18) since Jeff Jacobs totaled 19 against Drexel on Dec. 3, 1993 ... scored a season-high 26 points to lead the Frogs during a Dec. 28 win over Chicago State ... hit a career-high three shots from 3-point range during the victory ... recorded his MWC scoring high of 19 points Jan. 15 at Colorado State ... had two blocked shots three times.
