FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Horned Frogs will put their four game winning streak on the line beginning Friday night as they head north for a three-game series at No. 15 Wichita State. The Shockers will become the fifth ranked opponent the Frogs will have faced so far in 2008. TCU is coming off a successful 6-1 home stand that included a series victory over then-No. 2 Ole Miss last weekend.
TCU NOTABLES
TCU went 6-1 in their seven-game home stand, including two big wins over then-No. 2 Ole Miss.
The Frogs' offense came to life as they hit .265 in those seven contests with 16 extra base hits.
Bryan Kervin was the hottest hitter in the Frog lineup as he hit .400 last week.
On the mound, the pitching staff was dominate, posting a 1.80 ERA with 53 strikeouts.
Andrew Cashner earned two wins in four appearances.
ROAD NOTES
This weekend marks just the first road series of the season after an earlier tournament in Minneapolis.
TCU has won the lone game its played on an opponent's field, topping Minnesota 7-4 in extra innings.
TCU is 53-43 overall under Schlossnagle on the road.
WICHITA STATE NOTABLES
Wichita State enters the weekend ranked as high as No. 15 in the NCBWA poll.
The Shockers are 8-3 on the young season, including an undefeated 8-0 mark at home.
As a team, the Shockers are hitting .321 with nine home runs.
On the mound, the Shockers have posted a 4.13 ERA with 91 strikeouts.

TCU and Wichita State will meet for just the sixth time on the diamond.
