Game Notes:
• Jantzen Witte extended his hitting streak to four games with a first inning single.
• Witte has tallied at least two hits in all four games.
• TCU allowed eight two-out runs in the contest.
• Josh Elander led off for the first time in his career.
• Nick Frey notched his first pick off of the season.
• Prior to giving up runs in the seventh inning, Justin Scharf hadn't allowed an earned run in his last 15 innings pitched.
• TCU was shut out for the second time this season, the first time since the Frogs were shut out twice in 2007 (5-0 vs. BYU 4-19-07 and 3-0 vs. Baylor 5-1-07).
