• Hit a pinch-hit two-run home run against Dallas Baptist on Feb. 28.
• Missed a month of the season with mono.
• Returned to the lineup on March 30 against BYU in the MWC preseason tournament.
• Had a season-long three-game hit-streak starting with a 1-for-4 day against UNLV on March 31.
• Finished the season in a slump, tallying only three hits in his final 31 at-bats.
• Committed just one error in 19 chances in the outfield.

• Appeared in the Houston Area All-Star Game and the Texas All-Star Game.
• Was an all-state catcher as a senior.
