Was a three-year letterwinner at Round Rock High School... teammates with current Horned Frog Travis Evans... was a two-time first-team all-district performer... named Team MVP as a junior... selected as the District 16-5A MVP... earned first-team all-Centex honors as a senior... was a member of the championship team from Texas in the Sunbelt Classic... voted as the MVP of the squad... hit .420 with a 5-2 record on the mound as a junior... hit .385 and went 7-2 on the mound as a senior.
