Made 13 appearances (11 out of the bullpen and two starts).
Posted an ERA of 4.85 in 29 2/3 innings pitched.
Compiled a 1-1 record.
Picked up two outs in his debut on Feb. 26.
Was solid in relief against Dallas Baptist on March 1, allowing a run on three hits in 3 2/3 innings of work.
Retired both batters he faced at Texas Tech on March 6.
Made his first start of the season on March 15 at UT Arlington.
Allowed a run on six hits in 4 1/3 innings of work.

Helped lead his team to a third place finish in the Junior College World Series.
Was 5-3 with a complete game and two saves in 19 appearances as a sophomore.

Finished the 2008 season with a team-high 9-4 record.
Earned NJCAA Pitcher of the Week honors on April 2, 2008.
Posted a 2.43 ERA in 16 starts, while fanning 66 batters in 89 innings pitched.
