2012 (Sophomore):
Made two starts as part of 10 appearances on the mound... posted a 4.81 ERA in 24 1/3 innings of work.... TCU was 5-5 in games he pitched and 1-1 in games he started... held opponents scoreless in four of eight relief appearances... allowed three runs in two innings pitched against Ole Miss on Feb. 17... struck out a season-high four batters in three innings of work at Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 26... pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings against Oklahoma State on March 2... first start of the season came on March 13 at UTSA... tossed a scoreless inning at UNLV on March 18... pitched four scoreless innings at New Mexico on March 24... started against UNLV on April 1... tossed a season-high 4 2/3 innings and surrendered five runs (four earned) on seven hits... returned from an injury to pitch two scoreless innings against Dayton in the NCAA College Station Regional on June 2.
2011 (Freshman):
Coaches initially wanted to redshirt him... finished the season 1-0 with a 3.45 ERA... fanned 18 in 28.2 innings of work... team was 7-3 in his 10 appearances.. made four starts in which the Frogs were 3-1... held opponents scoreless in three of his six relief outings... allowed just one of four inherited runners to score... pulled the redshirt on April 6 when they gave him the start against UT Pan American... earned the victory after holding the Broncs to just three hits in four innings of work... got two outs in the Frogs' win over UNLV on April 22... was touched four five runs in 1.2 innings of work in a start against Dallas Baptist on April 25... gave up two runs on three hits in a four-inning start against Baylor on May 10... was outstanding in the regular-season championship-clinching win over Utah on May 15... got the start and allowed just one run on six hits in six innings of work with five strikeouts... pitched two scoreless innings against New Mexico on May 21... was outstanding in relief against New Mexico in the conference tournament... allowed a run on five hits in a career-high seven innings of work... also struck out a career-high six in the contest.
The Woodlands High School:
Was a three-year letterwinner at The Woodlands High School... earned all-district honors as a junior and a senior... selected for the Houston-area Baseball Coaches Association Future All-Star game for two years... appeared as part of the Texas Rangers at the Area Code Games as a junior... named to the Rawlings/Perfect Game pre-season all-regional team... played select ball for The Woodlands Bulls, Columbia Angels and Houston Heat... posted a .327 batting average and was 3-0 with a 1.83 ERA as a junior.
