Made 11 starts as part of 22 appearances... put together a 9-2 record to go along with a 2.08 ERA in 112 2/3 innings pitched... eight of his 11 starts were of the quality variety... team posted a 15-7 record in games he pitched and an 8-3 record in games he started... allowed just three of 11 inherited runners to score... posted a 1.70 ERA as a reliever... splashed onto the scene in his collegiate debut on Feb. 19 against Ole Miss... retired all 10 batters he faced and struck out two in 3 1/3 innings to earn his first collegiate victory... improved to 2-0 with three shutout innings at Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 24... continued to throw up zeros on the scoreboard with two shutout innings against Texas State on Feb. 28... gave up his first run of the season on March 4 against Oklahoma State... tossed 4 2/3 innings in the outing... improved to 3-0 on the season after allowing a run on four hits in five innings of relief against Texas Tech on March 12... tossed 3 2/3 scoreless innings at UNLV on March 17... was touched for three runs (two earned) in 4 2/3 innings at New Mexico on March 23... earned his lone save of the season on March 31 against UNLV... struck out five Rebels in 3 2/3 innings... longest relief outing of the season came on April 3 against Dallas Baptist when he threw 5 1/3 innings... made his first career start on April 7 against UNC Wilmington... allowed two runs in 8 2/3 innings against the Seahawks... moved to 5-0 on the season after limiting Air Force to a run on three hits in 6 1/3 innings... threw seven innings of one-run baseball at San Diego State to improve to 6-0... fanned a career-high seven batters in the contest... game was part of a stretch of 22 2/3 innings without allowing a walk... got a no-decision in an April 27 start against Manhattan... held the Jaspers to a run on six hits in 7 1/3 innings... was touched for three runs in four innings against Oklahoma on May 1... started the rain-delayed game against New Mexico upon resumption on May 5... earned his seventh win of the season after allowing three runs in 4 1/3 innings... had a brilliant performance at Air Force on May 11 with eight shutout innings with seven strikeouts in the game... contest started a streak of 22 1/3 innings without allowing a run... turned in one of the most historical performances in TCU baseball history on May 19... became the first pitcher since Dwayne Williams on March 11, 1986 to toss a nine inning, complete game... struck out five in the game and retired 22 straight at one point... was touched for his first loss of the season on May 25 against New Mexico in the conference tournament... gave up four runs (three earned) in six innings of work... started the NCAA College Station Regional opener against Ole Miss on June 1... got a no-decision after allowing two runs on six hits in 6 1/3 innings... bounced back to pitch the Regional Championship game against the same Rebels on June 4... allowed three runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings... was tagged with the loss in his final start at UCLA in the Super Regionals... gave up just two runs on four hits in 3 1/3 innings.

High School:
Was a two-year letterwinner at Cuthbertson High School... was a two-time all-conference performer... also earned all-county honors twice... two-time participant in the Battle of the Border between Nort Carolina and South Carolina... member of Team North Carolina in South Atlantic Border Battle... participated int he On Deck O's baseball program... posted a 0.88 ERA as a junior... had a combined 1.44 ERA as a junior and senior... had a career record of 11-2.
