Austin on March 30 and vs. Air Force on April 2... was the winning pitcher against the Falcons... earned his second save with two shutout innings against UT Pan American on April 5... saw his ERA rise above 1.00 after allowing three runs on two hits in an inning at Oklahoma on April 12... pitched a scoreless inning at San Diego State on April 16... became a regular starter on April 19 at nationally-ranked Texas A&M... improved to 3-0 on the season after holding the Aggies to an unearned run on two hits in 5 2/3 innings pitched... was tagged with his only loss of the season on April 26 after giving up four runs (two earned) on four hits in 3 1/3 innings against Oklahoma... got a no-decision in a start at Oklahoma State on May 8... allowed three runs on five hits with six strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings... earned his fourth win of the season with a season-high 7 1/3 innings pitched against Utah... fanned a career-high nine batters and allowed just three runs (two earned)... improved to 5-1 on May 26 with a seven inning performance against BYU in the MWC Tournament... gave up five runs and struck out seven... was outstanding in the Frogs' lone victory in the NCAA Fort Worth Regional... held Oral Roberts scoreless for seven innings, limiting the Golden Eagles to two hits and striking out three.
