Made 19 appearances and started one game... team posted a 14-5 record in games he pitched, including a 1-0 record as a starter... held opponents scoreless in 12 of his 18 relief outings... allowed just three of his eight inherited runners to score... went 1-1 on the season with a 4.67 ERA... racked up 30 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched... tossed a scoreless inning of relief in his first appearance of the season against Sam Houston State on Feb. 20... threw two scoreless innings against UT San Antonio on March 2... struck out a season-high four and allowed just one hit to the Bearkats... was tagged with the loss against Rice after surrendering two runs on three hits in two innings of work... matched his season high with four punch outs against the Owls... held Dallas Baptist scoreless on March 22 with a perfect inning of work... was touched for seven runs (six earned) on six hits in 1 2/3 innings of work at Air Force on March 28... bounced back with a scoreless frame against UT Arlington on March 30... had a five game stretch that saw him yield just one earned run in 7 2/3 innings pitched... walked just four batters while striking out nine over that stretch... made his lone start of the season on May 16 against Air Force... tossed a career-high five innings, allowing just two runs on four hits with three strikeouts... picked up his first career win on June 23 against Florida State... retired both batters he faced in the seventh inning in an elimination game at the College World Series.

Made 22 appearances, finishing the season with a 0-2 record... also tallied three saves... fanned 25 batters in 26 innings pitched, while issuing just eight walks... held opponents scoreless in 14 of his 22 appearances... posted a 4.50 ERA... team posted a 13-9 record in games he pitched... allowed just one unearned run in his first five appearances spanning 6 2/3 innings... the unearned run came in his collegiate debut at Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 21... tossed two innings and struck out three batters... earned his first career save on March 6 against Wichita State with a scoreless inning of work... was tagged with the loss against Oklahoma on March 17... surrendered two runs and took the loss at Utah on March 22... rebounded with five scoreless outings from April 5-21... gave up four hits and struck out two in the five-inning stretch... struck out four in three straight appearances from April 28-May 11... streak started out with four Ks at Texas A&M in two innings of work on April 28... fanned four in 1 2/3 innings of work against Utah on May 9... also struck out four on May 11 at Dallas Baptist in a career-high 2 1/3 innings of work... also earned his second save of the season in the contest... threw two scoreless innings against Wright State on May 29 to earn his third save... threw a scoreless inning on May 31 against Oregon State.

Was a two-year letterwinner at Georgetown High School for Danny Wallace... named to the Central Texas All-Star team... was the District 14-5A MVP as a senior... earned a spot on the all-state team following his senior campaign... went 17-1 with 10 saves in his career.
