Made his first appearance of the season against Sam Houston State on Feb. 21.
Reached base for the first time on March 2 against UT San Antonio with a walk.
Tallied his first career hit on April 28 at Baylor.
Drove in a run with that hit.
Singled, drove in a run and scored against Cal State Bakersfield on May 20.
Pinch hit in the NCAA Regionals against Lamar on June 4.
Also pinch hit against Texas in the NCAA Super Regionals on June 12.

Appeared in three games off the bench.
First collegiate plate appearance came against Dallas Baptist on Feb. 24.
Played first base and made two plate appearance against Wichita State on March 8.
Drew a walk in the game.
Came off the bench and had four at-bats against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on April 22.
Scored his first collegiate run in the contest.
2008 (Freshman)

Earned three varsity letters for Head Coach Rocky Manuel.
Was a Preseason All-American prior to his senior campaign.
Earned all-state and all-Greater Houston honors as a senior.
Was a three-time first-team all-district performer.
Ranked as the No. 61 position player by Perfect Game.
As a junior, he was ranked by Baseball America as one of the top 300 2007 graduates.
Earned invitations to the Perfect Game National Showcase at Arkansas and to the AFLAC Showcase in San Diego in the summer of 2006.
Awarded the 2007 Ray Knoblauch Award (given to a Bellaire High School senior for excellence on and off the field).
