2007 (Freshman):
• Forced to redshirt after suffering an injury during the fall.

Keller High School:
• Earned honorable mention all-district as a sophomore.
• Named first-team all-district as a senior.
• Was a member of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Super Team as a senior.
• Had a .375 batting average and owned a 22-game hit streak.
• Was perfect in stolen base attempts as a senior.

Personal:
• Brett is the son of Tony and Tina.
• Has an older brother, Derek.
• Plans on majoring in Business Entrepreneurship and minoring in Marketing.
