Returned to the mound on Feb. 14 against Texas State.
Allowed two runs on three hits with a walk and a strikeout.

Named all-state by the Illinois High School Coaches Association and the Chicago Tribune.
Was the Great Northwest Player of the Year as a senior.
Earned all-area honors as a junior and senior.
Conference Player of the Year as a senior.
Threw a no-hitter in the state supersectionals.
Owns the school record for shutouts in a season (8) and victories (14).
Had a career record of 22-1 with a 0.99 ERA.
Also an outstanding hitter, batting .511 as a senior.
