2007 (Redshirt Freshman):
• Made just one appearance on the season against Coastal Carolina on Feb. 23.
• Surrendered two runs on two hits in 1 1/3 innings pitched.

2006 (Freshman):
• Made just two appearances on the season before suffering a season-ending arm injury.
• Received a medical redshirt.
• Made first collegiate appearance against No. 2 Rice at the Houston College Classic on Feb. 12.
• Struck out the only batter he faced.
• Returned to the mound on Feb. 14 against Texas State.
• Allowed two runs on three hits with a walk and a strikeout.

Barrington High School:
• Drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 37th round of the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft.
• Named all-state by the Illinois High School Coaches Association and the Chicago Tribune.
• Was the Great Northwest Player of the Year as a senior.
• Earned all-area honors as a junior and senior.
• Conference Player of the Year as a senior.
• Threw a no-hitter in the state supersectionals.
• Owns the school record for shutouts in a season (8) and victories (14).
• Had a career record of 22-1 with a 0.99 ERA.
• Also an outstanding hitter, batting .511 as a senior.
