At Christian Brothers Academy:
Was the New York State Player of the Year as selected by Perfect Game under Head Coach Dave Doemel.
Earned four varsity letters.
Drafted in the 35th round (1,079th overall) by the New York Yankees.
Tabbed as a Louisville Slugger Preseason All-American prior to his senior year.
A first-team, large-school All-Area selection by the Times Union and the Troy Record.
Competed for the South Troy Dodgers' Connie Mack program in the summer of 2007.
Helped his team to a fifth-place finish, earning the Dodgers' lone win of the tournament.
Was the Dodgers' all-time home run leader.
Earned invitations to the USA Baseball Tournament of Stars in Joplin, Mo. and the Perfect Game National Showcase in Fayetteville, Ark.
Also invited to the East Coast Professional Showcase (Boston Red Sox) in Wilmington, N.C.
Participated in the Goodwill Games versus Japan in Cooperstown, N.Y. and the World Wood Bat Championships in Jupiter, Fla.
