Scouting Report: Senior returns poised to be a full-time starter in 2003 after serving as perhaps the Frogs' most valuable utility player a season ago.

As a Junior (2002): Recorded a .306 batting average in 41 games, tops among Horned Frogs reserves ... also led TCU players with less than 30 starts in most offensive categories, including runs, hits, doubles, home runs and RBI ... made 28 starts at DH (16), SS (10) and 2B (2) ... after missing start of season due to an assortment of injuries, went 2-for-4 with a double and run scored in debut vs. Sam Houston State on Feb. 23 ... had back-to-back two-RBI games vs. USC and UT-Pan American on March 8-9, including first-career home run against the Trojans ... recorded third multi-RBI game in five outings with two ribbies in 8-6 win over Southern Miss in C-USA opener on March 15 ... went 3-for-7 with a pair of doubles and three RBI in two games versus Tulane April 19-20 ... capped season-long seven-game hitting streak with a career-high three hits and three runs, including second home run of season, May 11 versus Cincinnati ... carried .340 batting average into final five games of season, but managed just one hit in last 14 at-bats ... hit in every spot of TCU batting order but third and eighth.
