Was a three-year letterwinner at Canyon High School... drafted in the 42nd round of the 2011 MLB draft by the Boston Red Sox... was a two-time all-district performer... earned all-state honors as a junior and senior... helped lead Canyon to a district championship as a junior... named the district MVP after hitting .568 with seven home runs and 66 RBIs as a junior... also honored as a Max Preps All-American... selected as the Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame Athlete of the Year in baseball in 2011.
