Served primarily as the Horned Frogs bullpen catcher... was a pinch hitter in the May 12 contest at Air Force... singled to right field for his first career hit.
2011 (Sophomore): Served primarily as the Frogs' bullpen catcher... got an at-bat in the conference tournament against Utah on May 27... battled through a nine-pitch at-bat before eventually striking out.
Second Baptist High School: Was a three-time letterwinner in high school.... honored as a first-team all-district performer as a senior... earned second-team all-state honors following his senior campaign... garnered first-team all-district honors as a junior... was an honorable mention all-state honoree as a junior... hit .390 with five home runs and 10 stolen bases as a senior.
Personal: Parents are Jacky and Leenie... has an older sister, Jessica and a younger brother, Caleb... father, Jacky, played tennis at Northeast Louisiana... majoring in criminal justice with a business minor.
