Many athletes have traveled many miles to attend TCU. However, few have come further than Raita Yamanouchi of the men's cross country team. Yamanouchi hails from Tokyo, Japan. GoFrogs.com recently had a chance to get behind the scenes with Raita.

Person who has most influenced your athletic career: Hideki Matsui of the New York Yankees

Most memorable moment in athletics: When I won the Tokyo Championship High School Division in the 800 meters in 1998

Best runner you've ever faced: Teammate Jackson Langat

Craziest ambition: Make money and own a restaurant

One thing you wish you were better at: Baseball
