  • TCU's top middle distance runner returns for his junior season after earning a trio of all-America certificates in 2003.

    2003 Cross Country

  • TCU's top cross country runner, earned second team all-conference honors after placing ninth at the C-USA Championships in Tampa, covering the 8K distance in 25:26.40... his performance helped TCU to a ninth place finish among the 12 schools.
  • Was the Frogs' top finisher at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships... placed 28th overall, covering the 10K distance in 32:00.

    2003 Track

  • Earned three all-America certificates in his first season on the track for the Flyin' Frogs.
  • Named the Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Male Athlete of the Year.
  • Primarily focused on the 800 meter event... broke the indoor school record in the 800 with a clocking of 1:48.85 in winning the Air Force Classic on February 8... broke his own mark on February 14 at the Razorback Invitational with a time of 1:48.42.
  • Took the gold medal at the C-USA indoor meet with a time of 1:53.75 in the 800 meters... also won gold with a 4:17.25 clocking in the mile run.
  • Broke the school record in the 800 for the third and final time in the prelim round at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a time of 1:48.36.
  • Placed sixth in the NCAA 800 meter finals with a time of 1:48.50.
  • Ran the second leg on TCU's silver medal winning 4x400 meter relay unit at the NCAA Indoor Championships... the team turned in a finals time of 3:04.87 to finish behind only LSU.
  • Repeated as the Conference USA champion at 800 meters during the outdoor season, winning the league title in 1:50.26... also took the gold medal in the 1500 meter run with a winning time of 3:49.17.
  • Placed third in the 800 meters at the Midwest Region with a mark of 1:48.21, earning a spot at the NCAA outdoor championships.
  • Turned in a season-best time of 1:46.41 in the first round of the 800 meters at the NCAA outdoor meet... ran a 1:47.64 in the semifinals and a 1:47.53 in the finals to place sixth.

    2002 Cross Country

  • Earned second team all-conference honors after placing ninth at the Conference USA Cross Country Championships in Hattiesburg, Miss. with a time of 25:21.13 over the 8K course... was the Frogs top finisher and helped the squad to a ninth place finish.
  • Won the UNT season-opener, covering the four-mile course in 20:35... named the C-USA Cross Country Male Athlete of the Week for his effort.
  • Did not compete at the South Central Regional meet.

    2002 (Tarleton State)

  • Was the Division II national runnerup at 800 meters and ran on the 4x400 meter relay unit at Tarleton State.
  • Coached by Macmillan Strickland.
  • Named the Lone Star Conference Athlete of the Week on April 16 after logging the fastest 800 meters by an NCAA (all divisions) runner at that point of the season with a 1:47.37 clocking.

  • Attended Chemamul High School, graduating in 1999... coached by Richard Sawe and Joshua Talam.
