Volleyball: Frogs Set Another Record
HUNTSVILLE, Texas (Nov. 7) The TCU volleyball team made history Nov. 7 night with a 3-1 win over Sam Houston State. The win gave the Frogs their 14th of the season, breaking the school record for single season wins, previously held by the 1997 team with 13. TCU evened its record at 14-14 while Sam Houston State fell to 5-23.
TCU held the lead throughout most of game one before the Bearkats went on a 6-0 run and stunned the Frogs with a 16-14 victory in the opener. The Frogs bounced back in game two taking a 9-3 lead and eventually winning the game 15-11. The Frogs ended games three and four before they started as they jumped out to huge leads and won both games 15-2.
"I didnt give much thought to setting a new all-time wins record," said head coach Sandy Troudt. "I just wanted to come in here get a win and get out. We didnt play all that well in the first two games, but I am going to contribute that to the hard practice we had yesterday."

Lindsay Hayes recorded eight block assists and seven kills to go along with 47 assists and 14 digs for her ninth double-double of the season.
