Outlook
Shameka Marve's positive attitude will continue to fuel the Horned Frogs in their transition year. She will battle for time at defensive specialist in her sophomore season.

Freshman Season (2004)
Marve appeared in four matches during the 2004 season, tallying her first dig in the match against Prairie View A&M.

High School
A three-year letterwinner in volleyball at Happy Hill Farm Academy in Granbury, Texas, Marve played for coach Tammy Evans. In addition to playing volleyball, Marve also earned four letters in basketball, four in track and field, a trio in cross country and a pair playing baseball.

Personal
Born on February 4, 1986, Shameka Nicole Marve is the daughter of Tony and Marcia Marve. A pre-major at TCU, Marve enjoys reading and music in her free time. She is one of six children in her family which includes brothers, Tony Jr. and Nicholas, and sisters, Ashley, Elizabeth and Heather.
