Former Frog Khadevis Robinson Wins Again

Fort Worth, Texas - Former TCU track standout Khadevis Robinson won the 800 meter event at Huesden-Zolder, Belgium, Sunday. His time of 1:44.61 was his third best, just behind his 1:44.41 in 2002, when he finished first at Lapinlahti. Robinson's best time posted was at this year's USA Outdoor Championship, winning gold with his 1:44.13 finish.

The Fort Worth, Texas, native and Trimble Tech High alumni has now won five meets in 2006, including the USA Outdoor Championship, USA Indoor Championship, adidas Classic, Reebok Grand Prix, and now Heusden-Zolder. He posted a 1:544.62 in Zurich in 2005, running the fastest outdoor 800m time by an American that year.

From 1995 to 1998, Robinson ran well for the Frogs with big wins coming in the 1998 NCAA Outdoor 800, 1998 WAC Indoor 800, 1998 WAC Outdoor 800, 1997 WAC Outdoor 800 and 1996 SWC 800. Robinson graduated from TCU in 1998 with a degree in social work.
