EUGENE, Ore. - Former Flyin' Frog Khadevis Robinson clocked the second fastest time on Saturday in the men's 800 meters to advance to the finals at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

"Today went really well. Yesterday was a shocker for me, but those guys came ready to run," said Robinson. "I wasn't ready to run yesterday and that was one of the worst performances I have ever had. Overall, today it felt good and it felt easy."

Robinson finished first in his heat and second overall with a time of 1:46.14 to qualify for final-round action at 8:25 p.m. PT on Monday at Hayward Field.

While at TCU, Robinson, who competed in the 2004 Olympics, won the 1998 NCAA Outdoor 800 meters to cap his college career. He is also a four-time U.S. outdoor national champion in the 800.
