COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - After capturing 15 individual conference titles at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships May 11-12, the TCU track and field team was honored on Wednesday with the announcement of the league's Men's and Women's All-MWC Outdoor team.

As announced by the league office, TCU had 16 student-athletes named to the Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field team. Following a second-place finish, the women's team had 10 selections, while the men's team had six honorees following a fourth-place finish.

In total, TCU's women's team had all-conference selections in 10 events, while the men's team had all-conference selections in eight events.

Headlining TCU's selections were Deborah Jones, Delwayne Delaney and Dell Guy, who each earned Virgil Hodge and Kishelle Paul, who each earned all-conference honors in four events. Virgil Hodge, Jamee Jones and Kishelle Paul each earned three honors.

On the men's side, Delaney won the 100 and 200 meters and also ran a leg on TCU's 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams that finished first. Delaney's success earned him the men's High Point Award. Guy was named Freshman of the Year after finishing third in the 200 and 400 and anchoring the 4x100 and 4x400 teams that finished first.

Also earning honors were Jonathan Jackson, who won the long jump and triple jump, Clint Renfro, who won the 400-meter hurdles and ran a leg on the 4x400 relay. Justyn Warner received all-league honors for finishing second in the 100 and as a member of the 4x100 team. Raymond Jones was also honored for running legs on TCU's winning 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams.

On the women's side, Deborah Jones was honored for winning the 400 meters, placing second in the 200 meters and running a leg on TCU's winning 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams. Hodge won the 100 and 200 meters and ran a leg on TCU's 4x100 team. Jamee Jones finished third in both the 100 and 200 and was a member of TCU's 4x100 team. Paul won the 100-meter hurdles, placed second in the 400-meter hurdles and was a member of the 4x400 relay team.

Earning two honors was Nathandra John, who finished second in the 400 meters and ran a leg on the Flyin' Frogs 4x400 relay team. Neidra Covington was honored for finishing third in the triple jump, while McKale Davis and Candis Kelley won the 10,000 meters and shot put, respectively. Kandis Bell was honored for running a leg on the winning 4x100 relay team and Brittany Blaylock was named all-conference as a member of the 4x400 relay team.

TCU will return to the track May25-26 for the NCAA Midwest Regional in Des Moines, Iowa.
