Darryl Anderson
"I thought we had a reasonable day today. The competition was great and obviously we would have liked Virgil Hodge to win in her final indoor meet of her career, but she faced some great competition."

"Any of the eight women who made the final had a chance to win and I thought Virgil did well. She had some technical errors late in the race that cost her, but anytime you can come in here and make All-American it is a great accomplishment."

"Neidra jumped in and made the finals in the long jump. She is going to play a key role in our team stepping up in the next few years because she is only a sophomore. She did well today."

"We will get some rest tonight and come back tomorrow and regroup. I am looking forward to the challenge and seeing how it goes."

Virgil Hodge
"Today was something I need to learn from. Right now, I just have to learn how to finish the race like coach says. I didn't manage my race how I wanted to and I am kind of disappointed with my time because I wanted to run faster, but everything happens for a reason."

"In the 60 meters I stumbled a little bit out of the blocks, but I got myself together and did well. It was a good day overall and I really appreciate receiving another All-America honor. I am now just going to go back and get ready for the outdoor season."

Neidra Covington
"Today I think my performance went well. I came in and thought I could jump better, but overall I think it went pretty good."

"I'm not nervous now for tomorrow, but I might be when the time comes for the triple jump."
