The TCU Flyin' Frogs are back in action this weekend as they travel to Fayetteville, Arkansas to take part in the Razorback-Tyson Invitational. Friday's events are collegiate events, while Saturday's events are an invitational format.

"This is a big meet for us," said TCU coach Monte Stratton. "There are a lot of good teams that will be competing, plus it's run on the same track as the indoor national championships, so we'll get a good feel for it. It's a great track, so it will be our best opportunity for those who haven't made a provisional time to do so, and for those who have, to improve on their times."

Among the teams scheduled to compete are Arkansas, Florida, SMU, Indiana, Baylor, Auburn, Mississippi State, Clemson, Mississippi, Tulsa, Oklahoma State and Houston. In addition, Texas will be sending their women's squad.

The TCU Flyin' Frogs men's track team remained eighth in the latest Trackwire 25 poll. The Frogs are slated to score 20 points at the NCAA Indoor Championships, down two points from a week ago. Arkansas has taken over the favorite role with 49 points, just ahead of SEC rivals South Carolina (46) and LSU (44). Mississippi State (29), Stanford (28), Auburn (27) and Michigan (22) are also ahead of the Frogs. The Trackwire 25 projects a hypothetical score for the NCAA meet, factoring in injury reports and other variables supported by information gathered from coaches and NCAA-qualifying competitions across the country.
