FT. WORTH, Texas - Following a week break, the TCU men's and women's track and field teams return to action Saturday at the Wes Kittley Invitational in Lubbock, Texas. The 13th-ranked men's squad will square off with Texas Tech for the second time since Jan. 21. The TCU women will also be competing in the same indoor meet.

The Flyin' Frogs turned in several golden performances from two weeks ago at the Wes Kittley 6 Way, hosted by Texas Tech. The men posted a pair of first-place finishes and collected several runner-up honors, while the women picked up gold in seven of the 15 events.

TCU will be led by its young, but talent-laden women's squad, with the 4x400 relay team looking towards its third team gold of the season.

In the women's field events, Candis Kelley has been a solid performer for the Frogs. She notched her first career gold with a throw of 48-01.25 (14.55m) in the shot put on Jan. 21, which also ranks as the top conference mark this year.

Seniors Lewis Banda, Jackson Langat and Kip Kangogo are expected to give Texas Tech some tough competition. Banda (200) and Langat (1000) have won their respective events so far this season, while Kangogo took the gold in the one mile run the last time in Lubbock.
