TCU wraps up second day of Texas Relays with NCAA regional qualifying mark

AUSTIN, Texas - TCU's Julie Curtis turned in an NCAA regional qualifying mark late Thursday afternoon to wrap up day two of the 79th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays for the Frogs. Curtis, a senior from Manhattan, Kan., completed the 400-meter hurdles in 1:00.81 in heat six of the event. It was her first NCAA regional qualifying mark of the season.
Kishelle Paul ran heat five of the 400-meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 1:02.21.
The Flyin' Frogs hit the track early Friday morning with the women's 4x100 meter relay preliminaries starting at 9:30 a.m. Central. Field events will begin at 10 a.m. Central, with Jonathan Jackson and Joe Brown representing the Frogs.
Jackson will compete in the men's long jump section 'A' University/College, while Brown will make a showing in the men's javelin throw section 'B' University/College.
