Hostick takes silver after day one of Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas - TCU got solid performances from its middle distance runners Wednesday night at Mike A. Myers Stadium in the 79th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, Texas. Sophomore Cassie Hostick turned in a career performance in section 'B' of the 1500 meters as she posted a personal-best time of 4:41.36 to notch a silver medal in the event. McKale Davis and Katrina Zielinski also represented the Flyin' Frogs in the first day of the Texas Relays. Both competed in the 10,000 meters with Davis finishing the race in 39:35.41, good for sixth place overall. TCU hurdles will hit the track Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Central time, with Kishelle Paul and Julie Curtis competing in the preliminaries of the 400-meter hurdle.
