* Fredrick Turner is a walk-on who adds depth to the contingent of TCU sprinters.
2002
* Saw limited action, competing in just one meet during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
* Ran in the 60 and 200 meter dashes at the Oklahoma Indoor Classic on January 19... logged a 7.17 mark in the 60 and a 23.99 clocking in the 200.
* Ran the 100-meter dash at the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational on March 16 in the outdoor season opener... crossed the line in 11.24.
High School
* Graduated from B.F. Terry High School in Rosenberg, Texas.
* Lettered four times in track & field and once in football... also was in the band.
* Posted personal best marks of 10.40 in the 100 and 21.54 in the 200 meters.
* Earned a spot on the District 20-5A All-Academic football team.
* Named his team's MVP as a freshman and sophomore at Sharptown High School in Houston.
