TCU earns wins, school records and season-bests Saturday
2012 Academic All-Big 12 First Team (XC)
2013 Indoor Competed in four meets for TCU ... finished third in the mile at the Big 12 Championships ... posted top time in prelims session for the mile ... finished sixth in the women's 3,000-meter run, taking down the TCU school record in 9:28.92 ... also competed in the 800-meter run for the Horned Frogs.
2012 Cross Country Competed in five meets ... finished 17th at the Big 12 Championships ... missed out on South Central Regional due to illness ... led the Horned Frogs at the Chile Pepper Festival with 22nd place finish ... earned two top-10 finishes with eighth place effort at Ken Garland Invitational and ninth place at the Notre Dame Invitational ... took 14th at the Bear Twilight Invitational.
2012 Outdoor Competed in the Mountain West Championships in the 1,500-meters (sixth, 4:41.31) and 5,000-meters (23rd, 19:29.85) ... finished second in the 1,500-meters at TCU Invitational ... finished third in 5,000-meters at Stanford Invitational ... also recorded a third-place showing in the 1,500-meters at the Bobby Lane Invitational ... also competed in the 800-meter run and distance medley relay.
2012 Indoor Finished fourth in the mile (5:09.68) and 14thin the 3,000-meter run (10:20.33) at the MWC Championships ... earned a third-place finish in the mile at Texas A&M Invitational.
2011 Cross Country One of TCU's top performer's, appearing in all six meets ... finished 37that South Central Regional ... crossed the line 32ndat MWC Championships ... posted top-five finishes at the UNT Metroplex Opener (fourth) and UT-Arlington Mav's Challenge (fifth) ... took 25that the Cowboy Jamboree.
2011 In Outdoor, competed in the 800M, 1500M, 3000M and 5000M... Placed 13th in the 1500M and 17th in the 5000M at the MWC Championships... Finished first in the 1500M at the Horned Frog Invitational with a time of 4:32.92, good for sixth best in TCU history... Recorded Top 10 finishes in the 1500M at the Bobby Lane Invitational (fifth), Tom Jones Memorial Invitational (ninth), and the Texas Relays (10th)... Placed third in the 3000M at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational with a time of 10:03.90, tied for 10th best in TCU history... Finished first in the 4x400 Relay at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational... Gained recognition as a member of the Academic All-Mountain West team and achieved MWC Scholar-Athlete honors... In Indoor,competed in the Mile, 3000M, 5000M and Distance Medley Relay... Finished fourth in the Distance Medley Relay and 11th in the 3000M at the MWC Championships... Marked a first place finish in the 5000M at the Texas A&M Reveille... Placed sixth in the 5000M at the Razorback Invitational.
2010 Cross Country Appeared in all six meets for TCU... rallied to a fourth-place finish to help the Frogs take the team title at the UTA Season Opener... finished third among TCU athletes for 10th palce at the Bear Twilight Invitational... was 52nd at the MWC Championships and 48th at the South Central Regional.
2010 Did not compete during the 2010 track and field season.
McAllen Memorial High School Terry earned regional cross country champion honors twice during her time at McAllen Memorial High School ... The two-time 5A runner-up in the 1600 meters, has posted a personal-best time of 5:01.40 seconds in the 1600, while also clocking a personal-best time of 10:56.36 in the 3200 meters ... Terry recorded a time of 17:31.00 seconds in the 5K while competing in 5A competition ... In cross country, Terry collected all-state honors during both her junior and senior seasons ... The All-South National Regional Team selection was an eight-time all-valley honoree between cross country and track and field ... Finally, Terry was honored on the Valley All-Decade team.
