Tanui comes to TCU from Central Arizona College where she claimed the Junior College National Championship in cross country in 2008 before earning runner-up honors this past fall to lead the Vaqueras to the NJCAA Cross Country National Championship ... Tanui, who hails from Burt Forest, Kenya, also claimed national championship accolades in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters at Central Arizona in 2009 ...
