In Outdoor, competed in the 100M, 200M and 4x100 Relay... Won MWC Championship titles in the 100M, 200M and 4x100 Relay... Finished 15th in the 100M and 200M at the NCAA Championships, picking up second-team All-America status in both events... Placed second in the 100M and third in the 4x100 Relay at the Penn Relays... Finished first in the 4x100 Relay at both the Bobby Lane Invitational and the Horned Frog Invitational... Placed second in the 100M and 200M at the Horned Frog Invitational... In Indoor, competed in the 60M and 200M... Finished third at the MWC Championships in both the 60M and 200M, earning All-MWC honors in both... Named MWC Athlete of the Week for Dec. 15... Placed second in the 60M at the Texas A&M Reveille.

The Waco native helped USA blaze to gold medal honors in the men's 4x100, clocking a blistering 38.93 seconds, which was second-fastest time ever recorded by a junior team ... Silmon, who blew by Jamaica on the second exchange, teamed with Michael Granger, Eric Harris and Oliver Bradwell to cross the finish line in first-place ... Silmon, who has clocked the fastest 200-meter junior time in the world this season, became only the third TCU student-athlete under head coach Darryl Anderson to medal at the IAAF World Junior Championships ... The freshman joins the likes of former Frog greats Otis McDaniel and Justyn Warner, who captured gold and silver medal accolades, respectively ... The gold medal for Silmon was a fitting ending to the World Junior Championships in Canada ... Earlier in the week, he just missed a gold medal in the men's 100 meters, crossing the finish line in second-place with a personal-best time of 10.23 seconds.

Silmon had a breakout freshman season as he exploded onto the scene at the season-opening Texas A&M Reveille, clocking a time of 6.67 seconds in the 60 meters to earn first-place accolades ... Earned Mountain West Conference Player of the Week accolades following his first-place showing in College Station ... Posted a personal-best time of 6.67 seconds again later in the indoor season at the NCAA Qualifier, breezing to first-place honors ... Earned runner-up accolades in the men's 60 meters at the Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships with a time of 6.75 seconds ... Came back during the outdoor season to simply dominate competition ... Silmon went into the NCAA West Preliminary Round, having clocked the seventh-fastest time in the region ... At the MWC Outdoor Championships, Silmon captured the 100 meters title at the conference championships, blazing to a personal-best time of 10.24 seconds to capture his first conference title of his young career ... Silmon's time, which set a new Mountain West Conference Championship record, at that point was the No. 7 in the West Region and No. 19 in the NCAA this spring ... By winning the 100 meters, Silmon was honored as the Mountain West Conference Men's Most Outstanding Performance honoree ... Competed at the NCAA Championships in the 100 meters, just missing the finals, placing 12th overall with a preliminary time of 10.33 seconds ... Qualified for the final round of the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the men's 100 meters by placing sixth at the NCAA West Preliminary Round ... Also competed in the men's 200 meters at the NCAA Championships in Eugene after placing fifth overall at the NCAA West Preliminary Round with a personal-best time of 20.58 seconds ... Placed second in the 200 at the Mountain West Conference Championships with a time of 20.65 seconds ... Was a key component of the men's 4x100 that ranked in the top 10 in the world rankings for the majority of the outdoor season ... Helped the unit clock a time of 39.20 seconds at the Texas Relays, which at that point ranked No. 2 in the NCAA ... Also helped the quartet win conference championships accolades in Albuquerque ... Closed out his freshman season making the USA Junior National Squad in the men's 100 meters ... Will compete in the men's 100 meters in Canada in July.

Silmon competed at Waco High School in Waco, Texas ... Ran 10.41 seconds in the 100 meters to claim state championship honors his senior season ... He collected runner-up honors in the 200 meters at the Texas State Championships his junior year, clocking a time of 21.02, which at that point was the fifth-fastest 200-meter time in the country ... In the 100, Silmon's personal-best is 10.24 seconds, which he ran at the USA Track and Field Junior Olympic Championships ... He was a two-time All-American after competing at the USA Track and Field Junior Olympic Championships ... Was also part of a 4x100 unit that clocked a seasonal-best time of 40.80 seconds.
