Peoples once again crushed her previous school record in the women's heptathlon to collect runner-up honors with an NCAA provisional mark of 5,060 points at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships ... By earning second-place honors, Peoples became the first student-athlete in TCU history to finish the heptathlon in second-place at a conference championship meet ... The senior's personal-best mark was also the most points ever recorded by a Flyin' Frog in the heptathlon at a conference meet ... In the 400-meter hurdles at the MWC Championships, Peoples clocked her highest finish of her career in the event with a personal-best and regional qualifying time of 59.84 seconds to earn runner-up honors ... Peoples, who posted the sixth-fastest time in the Midwest Region, broke the previous complex record ... Earned all-conference honors during the outdoor season in both the heptathlon and 400-meter hurdles ... Also competed in the 100-meter hurdles with her top-finish being third-place at the TCU Invitational ... During the indoor season, placed third overall in the pentathlon at the MWC Championships, totaling 3,649 points ... Also collected all-conference honors as a member of the distance medley.

Peoples crushed her previous school record in the women's heptathlon to finish sixth overall in the event with 4,974 points on the second day of competition at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships ... During the outdoor season, she placed fourth overall at the Penn Relays in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking a seasonal-best time of 1:00.56 ... Also competed in the 100-meter hurdles with her top-performance being fourth at the UTA Open with a time of 14.23 seconds ... Place second overall in the 800 at the John Jacobs Invite ... Was a member of the women's 4x400 that won the Penn Relays and Horned Frog Invitational ... Overall, competed in eight difference events during the 2008 outdoor season ... During indoor, she placed fourth in the pentathlon at the MWC Championships and earned all-conference honors as a member of the women's distance medley squad.
