Closed out his senior season collecting All-America honors as a member of the men's 4x100 that placed eighth overall in Fayetteville with a time of 39.50 seconds ... Went into the NCAA Championships with the No. 21 ranked 100 meters time in the NCAA ... The San Antonio native qualified for nationals in the 100 meters by finishing fifth overall with a time of 10.39 seconds ... At the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships, McDaniel clocked a seasonal-best time of 10.26 seconds to earn runner-up honors in the event ... Also competed in the 200 meters at the conference championships, collecting third overall with a time of 20.85 seconds ... Helped the men's 4x100 clock a seasonal-best time of 39.41 seconds at the NCAA Championships ... Also ran a leg on the 4x100 that placed first overall at the Texas Tech Invite ... Finally, helped the 4x100 clock a time of 39.42 seconds in the finals of the MWC Outdoor Championships to earn all-conference honors and win the conference championship.

McDaniel headed back to the NCAAs in the 200 meters and 4x100 after sitting out last season ... Was part of the men's 4x100 unit that earned All-America honors by crossing the finish line in seventh-place with a time of 39.60 seconds ... The 2006 All-American crossed the finish line at the Midwest Regional in fifth-place with a time of 20.86 seconds in the 200 meters to qualify for nationals ... McDaniel had a solid outing at the MWC Championships as he won the conference title in the 200 meters with a seasonal best time of 20.60, while also posting runner-up honors in the 100 meters ... McDaniel, who headed to nationals with the 14th fastest time in the nation in the 200, also ran on the 4x100 at the NCAA Championships ... Was a key component on both the sprint medley and 4x100 units that ranked in the top-10 of the world standings for most of the outdoor season ... In the college men's 4x100 at the Penn Relays, the unit clocked a regional qualifying time of 40.25 to finish second overall in the event ... The unit which consisted of Andon Mitchell, McDaniel, Justyn Warner and Mychal Dungey clocked the sixth fastest collegiate time during spring at the Texas Relays in a field that included the likes of Tyson Gay and several other world-class Olympic athletes ... The unit, who's time was ranked in the top 15 in the world, recorded a seasonal best time of 39.70 seconds to finish fourth overall ... During the indoor season, McDaniel earned all-conference honors after placing second in the 60 and 200 meters with times of 6.72 and 21.28, respectively.
