Competed in just one event during the cross country season, placing 32nd at the UNT season opener in Denton... covered the 8K course in 28:22.
Elected to take a redshirt season after that season-opening meet.
High School
Lettered four times in both track and cross country at San Marcos High School... also lettered twice in soccer and once in basketball... coached by Eloy Colluzo.
Earned all-state honors on the track in the mile run as both a sophomore and as a senior... placed sixth in the 5A state meet in the mile.
Posted personal best times of 4:19 in the mile and 9:45 in the two mile run.
